Guess this title has officially stuck! I called it so because I truly think this is the best thing I've drawn to date.

I originally started drawing this piece around spring 2007, but before I'd even finished with the sketch I lost interest and shoved it into a folder. Towards the end of November I decided to finally finish it! It turned out far removed from my original plans for it, but I think that was for the best. I'm glad I took my time and thought hard about the mediums and colors I wanted to use. Taking the long 'break' really helped.

The border's straight IRL. This is a photo taken with my digital camera-- my scanner would have mangled the colors-- and it seems that this is as close as I can get the perspective to match up in PSP.

It's roughly 7.5" x 11". The halo is done in varying shades of metallic paint; shame the photo didn't pick that up.
